A Brief Overvuew Of My Proudest Works
Editorial Video
As someone with skills and experience in every step of the production process, I've worked on several high-quality video editorials.
Some - like The Untold History Of Resident Evil - retell events in detail and with a great deal of research. This video has several running jokes to keep it entertaining throughout, as well information that was guaranteed to be new to most viewers.
Others, such as Silent Hill 2's Most Important Character are opinion-based, deeply reasoned and reverent. In this particular case, this video touches on difficult real world subject matters that are navigated carefully.
Tues Your Own Adventure
From March 2022 onwards, I inherited the video editing responsibility for WhatCulture Gaming's longest running format. Tues Your Own Adventure is high-spirited and even higher energy list-based series where the audience decides our next subject matter.
Working as part of a team with a consistent writer and presenter, this allowed us to hone our own spin on things. I took on a producer role, helping to shepherd each episode from gestation to release.
Fans have repeatedly remarked that this "era" helped Tues Your Own Adventure "hit a new gear".
Summer Game Fest Coverage
From the end of 2025 onwards at WhatCulture Gaming, there was a more concerted effort from management - and myself - to attend more press events. Perhaps the pinnacle of this was Summer Game Fest 2026, where I flew out to LA for the first time.
This period produced a wealth of great video content in all kinds of formats both long-form and short-form. We had an extensive production schedule, and delivered on it.
A particularly unique piece of content from this weekend was my interview with the developers of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, which was my first in-person dev interview.
Short From Video
Alongside my passion for community and social media, I have a strong interest in delivering informative short-form video.
This has ranged from clips taken from (and to promote) bigger projects to the bespoke, including news pieces, video game reviews and even more "casual" fare like putting the staff of the WhatCulture office on the spot with questions about video games.
WhatCulture Gaming had zero short-form video before I took the initiative, proving success and opening up avenues for many of our sister channels.
